Supa-Stelth pumps has literally cut the cost of taking a bath (actually a spa bath) in half.
The problem: A major european Whirlpool manufacturer approached our parent company (New Fluid Technology pty ltd) to design, build and test a superior spa bath pump. One that would be significantly more energy efficient, smaller and quieter than any existing opposition pump as well as their own. Baths with up to 360 jets are now available for the Hydrotherapy market world wide. This poses a unique problem as to run so many jets often requires two and even three pumps which together use a lot of electricity and produce a lot of noise. The average whirlpool pump is around 800 watts and has a “Wire to Water” electrical efficiency of around 28% and a flow of 200L/m (53 US Gal/Min). The Supa Stelth Pump was designed using the same motor as the leading brand. By changing just the wet-end to our SS design the same pump now achieves a wire to water efficiency of 53% effectively cutting the amount of electrical usage in half! Importantly for Whirlpools this patented technology gives those brands licensed to use it a unbeatable marketing and performance lead. Always a problem for spa`s (particularly indoors) the noise now is also dramatically less. The Supa –Stelth Whirlpool pump was designed because of the market needing a better “Spa bath”pump.
The pump will be available soon via a major European Whirlpool manufacturer in both 220v and early 2013 in 110v (for the US Market). Distributer enquiries welcome!
